Privacy Policy: Rad Rat Comment Dashboard
Effective date: October 6, 2026
Rad Rat Comment Dashboard (“the App”) is a private tool operated by Aron Lawrence (“I”, “me”) at radratvideo.com. It helps me review and reply to comments on my own YouTube channel, Rad Rat Video, and my own Instagram account. The App is used only by me. It is not offered to the public.
YouTube API Services
The App uses YouTube API Services. By using the App, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Google’s handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy: http://www.google.com/policies/privacy.
Information the App accesses
YouTube
When I authorize the App with my Google account, it requests the YouTube scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.force-ssl. Through the YouTube Data API, the App accesses:
- The channel ID of my authorized YouTube channel
- Public comments on my channel’s videos: the commenter’s public display name, comment text, like count, timestamp, and video ID
- The titles of those videos
- Whether I have already replied to a comment
The App also uses this access to post replies to comments from my account, but only after I review the reply and press Post.
When I authorize the App with my Instagram professional account, it uses the Instagram API with Instagram Login and the instagram_business_manage_comments permission. Through that API, the App accesses:
- The username and account ID of my Instagram account
- My recent posts: post IDs, captions, and timestamps
- Public comments on those posts: the commenter’s username, comment text, like count, and timestamp
- Whether I have already replied to a comment
The App posts replies to Instagram comments from my account only after I review the reply and press Post.
Information the App stores
The App runs on Cloudflare Workers and keeps its data in Cloudflare Workers KV:
- My YouTube channel ID and my Instagram username
- My Instagram access token, which the App refreshes automatically and keeps in its private Cloudflare storage
- The current daily brief: the small set of comments selected for me to review (commenter name or username, comment text, like count, and the video title or a short snippet of the post caption), the drafted reply, the text of any reply I post, and the status (pending, posted, skipped). Each new brief replaces the previous one.
- A list of up to 1,000 IDs of comments I have already handled, so they are not shown twice
- My Google OAuth credentials, stored as encrypted Cloudflare Worker secrets
Comments that the App filters out as hostile or spam are analyzed in memory and are not stored.
Information the App shares
- Anthropic: The text of comments, the video title or post caption snippet each comment is on, and any rough notes I type are sent to the Anthropic API to filter comments and draft replies in my voice. Anthropic’s privacy policy applies to its handling of that data.
- Cloudflare: Hosts the App and its storage.
- Resend: Delivers a daily notification email to me. The email contains only a count of comments and a link. It contains no comment content.
- Google/YouTube and Meta/Instagram: Receive the replies I choose to post on their platforms.
I do not sell this information, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. No one other than me has access to the App or its stored data, except the service providers listed above acting on my behalf.
Google API Services User Data Policy
The App’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Information received from Instagram is handled according to the Meta Platform Terms.
Revoking access and deleting data
I can revoke the App’s access to my Google data at any time at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. I can revoke its Instagram access in Instagram under Settings, then Website permissions, then Apps and websites. Revoking access stops the App from reading or posting anything on that platform. To delete the data the App has stored, contact me at the address below, or I can delete it directly from the App’s storage.
Security
Credentials are stored as encrypted secrets, and access to the App’s dashboard requires a private login token. No system is perfectly secure, but I limit what the App stores to what it needs to work.
Children
The App is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone other than me.
Changes
I may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
