Hidden Levels in Tony Hawk's Underground! Beta Version Gameplay
Short version: A beta version of Tony Hawk’s Underground was discovered on a broken Activision dev kit, and it’s since been uploaded and modified so you can play levels that never made it into the retail game. That includes a very broken Australia level, a level from the game Gun, the test level and a handful of levels from past Tony Hawk games.
I just found out about this from a viewer, Loulz Cx, who sent me a message about it. It’s apparently from right before launch, so you can actually play the whole game, but it was cleaned up for retail, so we never got these levels. The person who found it posted photos of the dev kit on Twitter as proof. Loulz tested it in PCSX2, so it runs on a PS2 emulator.
The hidden levels
The Australia level really is broken. There’s a harbor, a city skyline and a big curved shell that looks like the Sydney Opera House to skate on. But a lot of it is plain flat color, and there are bright green bars running through it that look like placeholders.

Other areas are even rougher, with blank gray walls and almost no textures, but the trick system still works. You can still grind and string combos together like normal.

I tried to find more information, but the community doesn’t seem as active as it used to be.
