Hey guys, today we’re going way back to 1998 and looking at the first skateboarding game on the Playstation – Street Sk8er. Welcome to Rad Rat Video! 3 times a week, we learn something new about skateboarding. We finally made it. A lot of people have been asking me to do this, and I finally made it here. Also, a ton of people have requested Project 8. Keep in mind – I’m doing the whole series in order here. So there’s no need to request your favorite one – I’ll get to […]
In my research, I’ve come across a lot of really weird products that have been made for skateboarders over the years. For the sake of this video, these gimmicks are random skate products that don’t really do anything useful, or were at least way overblown. A good example is my first one, the Skate wing. […]
Welcome to my new series Retro Rippers where I let you know what’s going on with your skate idols from years ago. Aside from this, I also do game reviews, trick histories, trick tips on the shred school, and I answer your questions on AskRadRat. Subscribe so you can learn more about skating and skateboard […]
So I’ve really been wanting to play this game for a while, and I thought maybe being close to April Fools would be a good enough excuse to play a rollerblading game. The thing is – this game is actually really really good. Aggressive Inline was developed by Z-Axis Games, the guys who made Skate […]
Going into this game, I was really expecting not to like it. I remember not being too happy with it back when it came out, but I actually found myself having a lot of fun with this game. It’s stupid and completely over-the-top, but it works. After just playing Underground 1 and seeing it trying […]

The original version of the trick was known as a boneless one, which Thrasher defined as “a front-footed, frontside footplant.” Specifically on transition and banks. We’ll get into other variations later, but that’s the original version of the trick. Also, check out this definition […]
There are a lot of different stories about the origins of the no comply. I’m not sure there will be a way to completely prove one way or another, but we’ll do our best to get to the bottom of it. They’re often credited to John Lucero and/or Lance Mountain, and we’ll get there, but […]
Before we get too far into this, I just want to define the trick and get everyone on the same page. A laser flip is a frontside 360 varial heelflip, or the opposite of a normal tre flip – frontside and heelflipped. The name is actually kind of interesting. It seems to come from this […]
Today, we’re talking about Tony Hawk’s Underground. A lot of you guys said that this game was your favorite in the series, so I wanted to see if it really holds up. Underground came out in 2003, and was released to positive reviews. It got a 90 on Metacritic. Which is really good, but it’s […]
